Basic Rhyme ActivitiesImprove auditory skills by teaching how to rhyme. Teach a child how to rhyme by playing games and having fun. Before each game say you will be playing a rhyming game to find words that rhyme.
These resources can be used as teaching aids for use on a one to one basis or in small groups. They consist of different types of materials to aid the development of the concept of rhyme. They are mainly aimed at children within the 5-8 year group.

Download it for use in Communicate: In Print 2, including all the additional graphics so that you can tailor the materials to suit your group and make your own materials.
You need 'Communicate: In Print 2' installed to able to use this resource
Download the packs as PDF Files. These do not require
symbol software, but you will not be able to edit the activities.
You do not need any Widgit software
to be able to use this resource, but you will need to have Adobe
Acrobat installed.

The Communicate: In Print 2 set of files are installed into the Communicate files/In Print Writing folder, in Widgit Resources.
The extra vocabulary for the wordlist and the extra graphics
are provided with the pack and automatically added to
WIDRESOURCES (Widgit graphic resources). This enables
you to also create your own materials to meet individual needs.
The PDF version of this pack cannot be configured for individual use, but do not require specific symbol software.
These files can be printed directly from Acrobat Reader. You do not need any of the Widgit Products to access these files, but you will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed.
The A5 booklets need to be printed and then cut in half to make the small books. They have been paginated so that you can print them double sided. Alternatively sort the pages into numerical order before stapling.
