Download it for use in Communicate: In Print 2, including all the additional graphics so that you can tailor the materials to suit your group and make your own materials.
You need 'Communicate: In Print 2' installed to able to use this resource

Download the packs as PDF Files. These do not require symbol software, but you will not be able to edit the activities.
You do not need any Widgit software to be able to use this resource

The World War 2 activity pack has a set of six activities for each of the World War 2 reading books:

• Matching activity
• Missing vowel
• Quiz
• Sentence matching
• Spelling
• Wordsearch

There is also a Book of World War 2 pictures: with 18 pages of pictures, in colour and black and white. The black and white pictures would be suitable for colouring and the colour being used for display.

• Edit a book leaving just the pictures for pupils to write their own sentences
• Use the flash cards as pictures to illustrate pupil writing and displays
• Use the vocabulary checklist as a reference sheet for individual writers
• Record pupil progress and understanding of the vocabulary on the checklist
• Print the flashcards from each book for vocabulary games

Printing the materials from Communicate: In Print 2

The Communicate: In Print 2 set of files are installed into the Communicate files/In Print Writing folder, in Widgit Resources.

The extra vocabulary for the wordlist and the extra graphics are provided with the pack and automatically added to your Widgit graphic resources. This enables you to also create your own materials to meet individual needs.

Communicate: In Print gives you the option to print either as single sheets or as books ready to staple and fold. You can also choose to print double sided. You can print them in A4 or A5, and can choose to have the symbols in colour or black and white.

Printing the PDF Files

These files can be printed directly from Acrobat Reader. You do not need any of the Widgit Products to access these files, but you will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed.
