Download it for use in Communicate: In Print 2,
including all the additional graphics so that you can tailor
the materials to suit your group and make your own materials.
You need 'Communicate: In
Print 2' installed to able to use this resource
Download the packs as PDF Files. These do
not require symbol software, but you will not be able to edit
the activities.

Menu Selector
The menu selector is designed to enable individuals
of all levels of understanding to express their choices, likes
and dislikes with their daily meals. Included are 287 Widgit
Literacy symbols of food choices, 4 choices display pages,
4 meal time weekly visual planners for breakfast, lunch, dinner
and desserts. Additional days of the week symbols. A printed
menu page with a choice display page on the reverse for care
home documentation purposes
Activity Selector
Designed as a productive and proactive tool to enable
individuals to make independent choices in their everyday
lives. Included are 180 Widgit Literacy symbols of activity
choices, 3 choice display pages, 1 weekly visual planner,
2 daily visual planners, additional days of the week symbols
and a printed activity planner.
Shopping Support Pack
Designed to support individuals with various communication
skills and abilities to become more involved with necessary
survival activities such as food, clothes and household shopping
to assist them to develop and maintain skills necessary to
work towards independence. Focusing on 'picture'to item' association
the pack gives individuals control, choice and independence
by removing reading and writing barriers.
Housework Board
A proactive tool to enable individuals to make independent
choices in their everyday lives. This pack will assist carers,
parents and teachers to understand individual choices involved
in daily living. The housework boards allow individuals to
make decisions and clearly communicate these to people around
them. Included are 6 house work Widgit Literacy symbols, a
choices display page, 2 chores boards and 1 blank template
for appropriate photographs to be applied to.

Printing the materials from Communicate: In Print 2The Communicate: In Print 2 set of files are installed into the Communicate files/In Print Writing folder, in Widgit Resources.
The extra vocabulary for the wordlist and the extra graphics are provided with the pack and are automatically added to your Widgit graphic resources. This enables you to also create your own materials to meet individual needs.
Communicate: In Print gives you the option to print either as single sheets or as books ready to staple and fold. You can also choose to print double sided. You can print them in A4 or A5, and can choose to have the symbols in colour or black and white.
Printing the PDF FilesThe PDF version of this pack cannot be configured for individual use, but do not require specific symbol software.
These files can be printed directly from Acrobat Reader. You do not need any of the Widgit Products to access these files, but you will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed.
