Using PCS Addendum Library in your software

After the installation is complete you will then be able to access the extra symbols through Boardmaker.

You will notice the amount of symbols avalible in the Symbol Finder will have increased considerably after the installation.

 

Communicate: In Print/ By Choice

After the installation is complete you will then be able to use the PCS symbol set within Communicate: In Print and By Choice.

To do this you will need to replace your current wordlist with ‘PCS 08 UK.cwl’ or ‘PCS 08 UK + sex ed.cwl’.

You can make this your default wordlist under ‘Options -> Start Up Preferences’. You can use the Resource Manager to merge the PCS and Widgit wordlists to access both Symbol sets together.

 

Communicate: SymWriter

After the installation is complete you will then be able to use the PCS symbol set within Communicate: Symwiter

To do this you will need to change your Smart symbol set from WLS to PCS under Symbols -> Smart symbol set.

You can make this your default Symbol Set by going to ‘Options -> Start Up Preferences’.
