To purchase resources from the Widgit shop you need to have a customer account. After creating your account, you will be able to purchase and download resources and install them on your machine.
To download your resources you must first login to your account using your email address and password.
Once logged into your account you will have a number of options. You will be able to edit your account information, change your password and view your order history.
Under the My Orders section, click the ‘Downloads’ option.
You will then be able to view all of the products you have available to download.
Click the download link. A dialog box should appear asking if you would like to ‘Run’, ‘Save’ or ‘Cancel’. Click ‘Save’
When you click 'Save', the computer will ask where you would like to save the downloaded file. It is very important that you save the downloaded file somewhere safe in case you ever need it again. A good idea would be to create a new folder called 'Widgit Downloads' in your 'My Documents' folder and save all your Widgit downloads inside it.
When the file has finished downloading, you will then be able to install. To do this, double-click on the file, this will start the installation wizard.
Click 'Next' to install the resources.
Choose the components you wish to install and click ‘Next’.
Choose the location you wish to install the files to.
Click ‘Install’ to begin.
The PDF files will then install to the specified location
To view the files you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
