Question
Unable to completely uninstall Symwriter 1.0
Symwriter 1.1 contains a lot of exciting new features. You will need to uninstall
SymWriter 1.0 before you can start using 1.1.Symwriter 1.0 will not uninstall. It may appear in "Add/Remove Programs" and either not have a button to remove the program, or the uninstaller may fail with an error. Alternatively, it may have been removed from "Add/Remove Programs", but SymWriter 1.1 will not install, saying that a previous version is still on the machine.
Solution
If SymWriter is listed in "Add/Remove Programs", please make sure you are logged on to
your computer with the same user account under which you installed SymWriter, and re-try
the uninstall.
If that fails, or if SymWriter is not listed in Add/Remove programs, please download the
SymWriter removal tool below and run it to remove SymWriter from your computer.

Use this utility if you are having any problems uninstalling SymWriter 1.0.
Download the .exe file and double click on it to uninstall version 1.0 of SymWriter.
If you cannot download .exe files then you can down load the .zip file. You will need to unzip the .exe file form the .zip and then double click on the .exe to run the uninstaller.
