Problem
"Internal Application Error in chrun.exe" when starting Making Tracks
Solution
This problem is normally caused when Windows is installed onto a drive other than C:. There are two files that are in the Windows directory that need to be changed; these are myvoice.ini and provw.ini.
Both files are identical and will appear as in the example below.
[ProVoice]
provw=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
[speech fonts]
English 11kHz 8-bit=EN11K8
[default dictionary]
EN11K8=WID_EN.DIC
In the above document you would change the second line, provw=c:\windows\system to point to your Windows directory. If Windows was installed onto drive d:\ then you would modify the line to read provw=d:\windows\system and then save the file. Remember to modify both files.
