There are lots of symbols that support menu options. Make
a choice or the symbols
or take digital images of the dishes to link to your words. Either way
it is easy to produce
some clear menus either daily or for use in a canteen or café.
To make the front cover type in the words you
want to appear. Click on the Centre Align tool to centre
your words.
Colour the background ( Options drop down
menu, click on Background Colour ) Colour the text and
symbol lines by highlighting the words and click on the colour
icon on the formatting toolbar

To import the photo go to Images drop
down menu and choose Link to External Graphic . Navigate
through to your photo and type in the word you wish to link
to it. Type the word at the bottom of the front page of the
menu then click on F11 to strip away the text (followed by
a right arrow key press ) You can always enlarge the
image by clicking on the drop down menu next to the speaker
icons. A click back on the picture should enlarge it.
For the next page centre your text again and
type in the menu items. You may find that a different word
brings up a more suitable picture. (An alphabetical list of
symbols is available on the Widgit website www.widgit.com
) Type the word in, press F11 , type in the new name
and press the right arrow key on your keyboard. If you want
this machine to remember the word/picture allocation go to
the Images drop down menu and click on Save Settings Now
