Writing with Symbols 2000
Problem
WWS2000 is going very slowly. It takes as much as 5 seconds between displaying each letter.
Solution
Check that Speak after letter is not turned on. Your computer may have the speakers disconnected or the sound set at too low a volume. The program will run slowly in this mode, as it has to read out each letter before displaying the next one.
Open the program and click on the Speech drop down menu.
Click to remove a tick next to Speak after letter .
