Training Pack Activities

These Activities have been fully upgraded for Writing with Symbols 2000 version 2.6

The WWS2000 Training Pack is available as a comprehensive set of resources for schools and centres, to delivering staff training in using Writing with Symbols 2000.

The Activities from the pack are also available here as PDF files for individual use.

Most people will find these downloadable resources quite adequate for their own purposes. The full Training Pack is designed for schools and centres delivering training, and provide the files conveniently together, along with several other resources and guides.

The Activities provide a comprehensive introduction to all of the main features of the program. Each activity is designed to take between 10 and 20 minutes, although the precise time will depend on your own confidence with Windows.

Activities 1-7 cover the main aspects of using the program to create materials for students to use.
Activities 8-12 introduce making on-screen grids for student writing.
Activities 13 and 14 are for more experienced users.
Activities 15 and 16 are for people working with switch users.
