Questions
A standard question mark is used before an item to indicate a question.
Many words are used in the English language to denote a question, and
in these cases only the question mark is used: e.g. 'Do' as in "Do you
like coffee?"

Some questions may require a more concrete image. Alternative symbols have been designed, which may be rather context specific, and so only of limited use. However they will still be useful. These words are also used in non-question contexts, which requires a separate symbol.
It is important to think about how questions are phrased so that the most appropriate graphic sequence is used.
