Colnbrook School uses Communicate in Print throughout the day to produce a range of visual systems, including behaviour management tools and adaptations to published teaching and learning materials.

We support children and adults with severe communication difficulties. We provide:
- One-to-one   advocacy for people requiring a Communication Aid and living in Kent or Medway
- A loan resource library available to people living or working in Kent or Medway.
- Widgit symbol training is available to people throughout the UK at the Find A Voice office. There is a sliding scale of charges operating (reduced charges for parents and those working in Kent/Medway).'
- We will travel to other sites in Kent.

The ACE Centre Advisory Trust provides assessments, training, R & D, information, advice, consultancy and equipment loans to support the use of assistive technology for communication and learning for people with physical and communication disabilities across the South of England, South Wales and the Channel Islands.

The SEN/ICT Advisory is part of the Support Educational Needs Support Service (SENSS). It provides support for pupils with special educational needs to access the curriculum, and for pupils with communication difficulties who would benefit from a communication aid. It provides a range of information, advice and training, carries out assessments and in some cases provides equipment and software.

As a qualified teacher and mother to an autistic son, I have plenty of experience in developing strategies for dealing with difficult situations. I can provide appropriate training on-site for parents and carers, teaching staff, therapists and care workers. I can also offer help and advice about using symbol-supported resources in both the home and school setting.

Advice and training available from:

* Experienced Special Needs Teachers (including specialist knowledge in ASD and sensory impairment)
* Specialist Advisory Teachers working within mainstream schools in the Reading area
* Specialist Speech and Language Therapists
* Preschool Support Teachers

CandLE is a UK wide organisation which offers assessments, training and advice in AAC particularly around it's use in the curriculum and increasingly in adult services.
We can provide multi disciplinary assessments and run a three day training course called "Communication and Learning for All" which was written in collaboration with Bolton University.

Arbour Vale School is a special school situated on the outskirts of Slough - provides education for approximately 250 pupils between 3 and 19 years old.

Experienced and happy to train: Therapists and therapy assistants (SLT & OT), Teachers and Teaching assistants, parents and carers at your premises / home / school.  Will adapt to the needs of the audience and their particular interests and challenges.

Merton's Widgit Centre Team is a multi-service team offering support, training and/or assessment to Merton based setting. The different services can help and include the following:

- Language and Learning Team - offers support to schools to develop their provision for SEN through assessment, modelling intervention programmes and staff support and training for inclusion

- Educational Psychology Service - works with parents, teachers and other professionals and can be contacted through schools.

- Team for Autistic Spectrum and Communication Conditions- - works with parents and teaching staff to support pupils with ASD within mainstream schools.

- Early Years Inclusion Team - supports private, voluntary and independent early years settings to provide high quality inclusive practice.

- Virtual behaviour Service - offers support for individuals and groups of pupils with BSED as well as training and support to develop 'Pupil Voice'.

- Teaching and Learning Consultants- provides support with extra resources in the classroom that aid learning and teaching for all children.

Surrey Widgit Centre Team is a multi-service team – part of the ‘Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychology Service’ - offering support, training and/or assessments to pupils in Surrey schools. The different services can offer the following:

• SEN-VI ICT offers assessment, advice & support and provides hardware, software & peripherals for statemented children throughout Surrey. Keen to work with teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and therapy assistants. Ridge View is an all age community special school for children with Profound, Severe and Complex learning difficulties, many of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum. Ridge View is the District Special School for Tonbridge and Malling and has places for up to 100 pupils aged 2 to 19 years old.
