Lifecycle Book
Click on the four statements to learn interesting facts about the lifecycle of a plant from germination to seed dispersal.
Each page of text has four sentences. As the student clicks on each sentence in turn, it is spoken then added to the document.
There is a "repeat speech" button to hear it again and a delete button to remove an entire line in case something was selected in error.
The final document can be printed (and it works well in black and white as well as colour). Another option is to use this as an information source as one might use a web page. In this case the users can browse through the pages and copy just the sentences they need.

The final document can be printed for the student's records or to be used as an information source.
Keyword and Symbol Matching Activity
Click on the large symbol with a male or female part highlighted in red to send it to your document. Match one of the four choices of word to the picture representation of the part of the flower. There is a delete button so the student can change their word if they pick the wrong one. The speak button allows the student to hear the word read aloud again.
Parts of a Flowering Plant Quiz
This quiz tests the student's knowledge about the different parts of a flowering plant. Click on the large bar to hear and transport the statement to the document and then choose the correct word to complete the sentence. There is a delete button if they choose an incorrect answer.
Keyword and Definition Matching Activity
Students need to read the definition independently or transport it to the document so they can hear it read aloud. Then choose the correct word from a choice of four to match the definition. This needs to be inserted before the definition. The speak button can be used to hear the whole sentence. The delete button can be used to change their choice of word.
