The B Corp effect
As a Certified B Corporation (B Corp), it was important for Widgit to collaborate with a fellow B Corp on creating this film. Our search soon led us to Be Inspired Films, a video agency passionate about storytelling for purpose-led organisations.
From the initial creative brainstorm to the final edit, we agreed to ‘show’ not ‘tell’ our audience the impact of symbols and the joy they can bring, simply by enabling communication in everyday environments.

Unlocking the joy
Filmed across three locations, Widgit can be seen ‘in the wild’ across multiple settings – from a busy railway station to the final destination of a wildlife park. With a Social Narrative and Communication Board in place, we wanted to show how the inclusion of Widgit Symbols can help anxiety melt away, making way for joy-filled moments that for some families, may often feel impossible.
