Supporting understanding of the Sikh faith

As part of our shared ambition to champion inclusivity and ensure that symbols are accessible for wider groups, our new Sikh symbols have been designed in partnership with the Nishkam Schools Multi-Academy Trust.

The resources include flashcards, a word mat, and a glossary, which can all be used to support teaching and help learners develop a greater understanding of the Sikh faith.

This symbols release is the first part of a wider project in which we aim to develop our symbols across other faiths to ensure that our symbols remain as inclusive as possible. If you would like to contribute to this project, please get in touch education@widgit.com
